Forge - Halo 5: Guardians Edition Coming To Windows 10 As Standalone Game
You can create your own levels, but there's no full game still to play them in.
Windows 10 user? Love Halo 5: Guardians? You'll want to get in on some Forge, which is coming to Windows 10 as a standalone download later this year.
Forge - Halo 5: Guardians Edition will be free, and it'll feature some special enhancements such as mouse and keyboard controls, 4K resolution, and, well...the fact that you can play a standalone Forge mode on PC. Create levels in Windows 10 and you can upload them to your Halo 5 game on your Xbox One.
While this is all well and good, does this herald a possible upcoming release of Halo 5: Guardians for Windows 10? It only makes sense that players should be offered the whole shebang if they're being given the opportunity to play around with the game's expansive Forge mode.
Given that this is the same method other games have used in the past, teasing a building mode before releasing a game, this could be some pretty big news.
