The Division's Conflict update coming free next week
Update 1.2 gets new Clear Sky incursion and new gear sets.
The Division has had its share of problems and bug fixes, but the development team continues to churn out new free content, with the latest Conflict update now scheduled for release on May 24.
According to the Ubi blog, the update adds the Clear Sky incursion (formerly called Broken Circle) and a new feature called High Value Targets (HVT). An officer inside your base will list the targets, as well as the gear needed to take them down. Players will have a set amount of time to do the deed and only have one chance to do it right.
In addition, agents in the Dark Zone now have the option to hijack loot, meaning that a player can run to an extraction rope and cut it, causing all of the loot to fall to the ground. That should make extractions a lot more interesting. Developer Massive had previously said the update - officially version 1.2 - would also include an increase in the amount of Phoenix credits agents can hold, as well as lower the gear score for the incusion from 220 to 150. And, as usual, there are a variety of bug fixes in the update.
Ubisoft has said The Division has done rather well, gathering more than 9.5 million registered users, with active players in the game for about three hours a day.
