Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster coming to Steam this week
PC gamers can finally take to the blitzball field on May 12.
Looks like Tidus's blitzball field sprung a leak: Square Enix slipped a Steam page for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on Steam. The package deal will unlock on May 12, this Thursday.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster "celebrates two of the most cherished and beloved entries to the world-renowned franchise," per the game's Steam page. Besides characters, backgrounds, and other visual assets given an HD coat of paint, the PC version will include a rearranged soundtrack and content from international editions of the game previously only available in Europe and Japan.
Plenty of Steam-specific bells and whistles will be on hand, too. Each game includes achievements, cloud backups for saves, and Steam trading cards.
Recommended specs include a 2.4 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, a semi-modern GeForce or Radeon card, and roughly 40 GB of space on your hard drive.
