Witcher medallion coming to Rocket League on April 26

Hoop it up in 'Hoops,' then slay monster soccer balls with this medallion on your ride.

The devs at CD Projekt are BFFs with the creators of Rocket League at Psyonix, or close enough. In a sneak preview of next Tuesday's free patch, which includes Hoops mode, Psyonix revealed you'll be able to pimp your ride with a Witcher medallion.

"Several members of the Psyonix team were big fans of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt last year, so we talked with the awesome developers at CD Projekt Red to see if Geralt of Rivia’s iconic Witcher Medallion could make its way into Rocket League," according to Psyonix.

The Rocket League developer created the medallion to show their fandom for last year's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt—one of Shacknews' best games of 2015, by the way—and in anticipation of Witcher's forthcoming Blood and Wine expansion.
