Killer Instinct Season 3 kicks off tomorrow on both Xbox One and Windows 10, making this the first time the iconic fighting series has mades its official debut on PC. To make sure Windows 10 users are able to run the game in an optimal fashion, Iron Galaxy Studios has included a performance test in Killer Instinct Season 3 that allows PC users get the best performance out of the game.

The Performance Test analyzes a PC’s performance for online play, ensuring those playing on Windows 10 have equal footing with the Xbox One version. The test is a simple demo that has two characters fighting one another to test how well a PC will perform when Killer Instinct goes absolutely bonkers.

While the performance test for Killer Instinct Season 3 would be a great tool for those who may be considering purchasing the game, it’s a shame it’s only included to be used if you already own the game. Regardless of that, it’s great to see Iron Galaxy Studios doing everything in their power to ensure a smooth online experience for Killer Instinct players.
