Kirby Planet Robobot introduces mech combat on the 3DS on June 10
Kirby Planet Robobot has a lot going on, so read up on it here!
Kirby is returning to the Nintendo 3DS in an all-new adventure.
In Kirby’s latest adventure, invaders have mechanized Dreamland and it’s up to Kirby to restore it to its original form. Kirby will be able to jump back and forth between the background and foreground while using over 25 copy abilities, with new abilities expected in this new game.
Aside from copy abilities, Kirby will be able to use his enemy’s technology against them by donning a new Robobot armor. The armor is incredibly strong, can destroy obstacles that stand in his way, and can also copy enemy abilities.
The game will also feature a separate mode called Team Kirby Clash. It allows up to four players work together to take down powerful bosses as they assume one of four roles: Sword Hero, Hammer Lord, Doctor Healmore, and Beam Mage. Each role has their own unique abilities that players will need to use in order to beat the bosses. Completing quests will have players gain experience points, which will allow your Kirby to level up, and thus becoming even stronger than before.
Kirby Planet Robobot will support amiibo by giving character-specific abilities, such as Mario’s fire ability or Link’s sword ability. A new line of amiibo will also be introduced that includes Kirby, Metaknight, King Dedede, and Waddle Dee.
Kirby Planet Robobot will release on June 10, 2016.
