Could These Renders Be Our First Glimpse At Mass Effect Andromeda?
Teach me how to Shepard, teach me teach me how to Shepard.
Following the announcement that Mass Effect Andromeda isn't planned for release until the beginning of 2017, it seems as though some renders from the upcoming game have surfaced. Could they depict the new Shepard-like character we're expected to see in Andromeda?
The following images were posted on ZBrushCentral, where 3D modelers and artists often showcase their hard work. It sat quietly since its posting from January 2015 until tweeted out by one eager fan, Shinobi602.

The images, which can be seen here in this forum post, are by Herbert Lowis, the lead character artist at BioWare Montreal. The forum post describes the images as the Pathfinder character model for Mass Effect Andromeda. It could be legitimate, and it could not be, but we do at least know that the Pathfinder character is in fact part of the assortment of roles we can expect from Andromeda.
It's worth nothing this forum is for a wide berth of artists and several different talented renders, and it could be some excited fans hoaxing it up. Whatever the case may be, these could end up being our first real look at the game beyond a trailer and some tidbits of information.
