The Super Bowl is taking place this weekend, but Electronic Arts has already predicted a winner using Madden NFL 16. Sorry, people of Omaha, Nebraska and the fine folks at Omaha Steaks as the Denver Broncos will not be winning this weekend’s game.

The Madden NFL 16 Super Bowl prediction was officially released and crowned the Carolina Panthers as NFL Champions this year with a score of 24 - 20. According to the prediction video, the Panthers will be up 17 - 0 by halftime, although the Broncos will make a serious comeback in the 3rd quarter with a score of 17 - 13, with the Panthers still on top. In the 4th quarter, the Broncos will continue to dominate as the team surpasses the Panthers with a score of 20 - 17, although in the seconds leading up to the end of the game, Newton takes matters into his own hands and runs in to score the final touchdown, ending the game at 24 - 20.

Madden NFL 15 was able to accurately predict the score of Super Bowl XLIX, even going as far as predicting some of the big plays that would occur in the game. Will Madden NFL 16 be able to make this a repeat? Only time will tell as we’ll all certainly be keeping a close eye on this weekend’s big game.
