Prepare to die as Dark Souls 3 is releasing on April 12, 2016

Bandai Namco and From Software have announced Dark Souls 3 will released in the US on April 12, 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Dark Souls 3 will receive two different editions for those planning on picking the game up. The Day One Edition is priced at $59.99 and includes the game, a Prima Starter Guide, the game’s official soundtrack, and an exclusive O-sleeve. Dark Souls 3 Collector’s Edition is priced at $129.99 and will feature the game, guide, and soundtrack as well as an official art book, a cloth game map, a 10-inch Red Knight Statue, and a collector’s box.
Both the Day One Edition and Collector’s Edition are made available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Dark Souls 3.

awww i was hoping that Demon's Souls tease was going to have some meat to it when the Bloodborne twitter account included Demon's Souls in a recent tweet

Bloodborne and Dark Souls 2 are almost polar opposites in their design so it's not really surprising if people don't like both. I'm definitely a member of Team Bloodborne. Dark Souls 2 has a few good ideas but it just felt like a B-team effort.
Based on what I've seen so far, Dark Souls 3 seems to be settling around Demon's Souls in terms of gameplay speed (Demon's is a little faster than Dark Souls) but more deliberate than Bloodborne. I'm cool with that.
