Deus Ex: Mankind Divided delayed to August 2016
Deus Ex: Mankind needs just a little more time before it's set out into the world.
Square Enix has announced Deus Ex: Mankind has been delayed to August 23, 2016.
Eidos-Montreal head of studio David Anfossi announced Deus Ex: Mankind’s delay on its official website. He notes the studio is aiming for the latest game in the iconic series to be a worthy successor of Human Revolution, which it aims to not only meet those expectations, but to exceed them.
“We’re confident and proud of the game so far,” Anfossi writes. “However, as we are now playing through the game in full we can see that it will require more time in post-production for tuning, iterations, and refinement to meet our high standards. In order to achieve this, we need to move the release of the game to August 23rd, 2016.”
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was originally announced for a February 23, 2016 release, which now takes the game into the often-quiet summer release lineup.
