Life is Strange gets physical Limited Edition in January 2016
Life is Strange will soon be available at retail as its physical Limited Edition is coming soon.
Square Enix has announced it will be releasing a boxed Limited Edition of Life is Strange on January 19, 2016.
The Limited Edition includes directors’ commentary, a physical 32-page art book, and soundtrack that’s a mix of 14 licensed tracks from the game and 8 tracks from the game’s composer, Jonathan Morali.
“The response to Life is Strange really has blown us away,” shares DONTNOD Entertainment producer Luc Baghadoust, “to be able to share that experience with our fans in a traditional boxed format is something we’re really excited about and the decision to include the extra items for the Limited Edition is a direct response to fan requests.”
Square Enix didn’t disclose how much the Limited Edition would cost, although considering the full season pass retails for $19.99, we wouldn’t be surprised if it cost somewhere around $30.

Don't know if that was updated after it was initially sent out, but yeah, totally has a PC release.
Going to buy it and gift the key.-
Er, well, it says so, but it isn't available for pre-order, just the PS4 and XBO versions which are $40 USD; standard physical versions are $30 USD.

Ohhhh okay, so it doesn't mention it in the NA + US post. Not sure how I landed on an NA + EN variant, but whatever.

Commentary nodes are fairly common, at least insofar as in-game commentary goes. I suppose it would require a bit more work and testing to implement than a Let's Play. I would kind of be shocked if they went any other way, especially given the semi-branching nature of the game which contrasts the linear format of a Let's Play.

It's a game about a nostalgic journey of self-discovery, friendship, and mysteries.
It embodies the feeling of coming home after years away, the sense of your past, present, and future colliding together, with both hopeful and melancholic uncertainties underpinning it all. Any one choice could change everything or nothing.
Oh and Max Caulfield can rewind time. I guess that's kind of important to mention, that whole time control thing, yeah, probably important.
