Xbox One backwards compatibility's first 100 games to be revealed next week
You better have your favorite Xbox 360 games handy as next week, we'll learn if they'll be one of the first 100 games playable on the Xbox One.
MIcrosoft will announce the first 100 Xbox 360 games that will be supported by the Xbox One’s upcoming backwards compatibility early next week.
Xbox head Phil Spencer revealed the upcoming announcement on Twitter, where he responded to a fan question asking for a list of 360 games that will be supported on the Xbox One.
Next week’s reveal should calm the nerves of Xbox 360 owners who have been on the fence on whether or not they should pick up an Xbox One this holiday season. Considering how vast the Xbox 360 library is, 100 games doesn’t seem like a lot of games, but we’re hopeful Microsoft will show priority to more popular games than obscure releases.
