Heroes of the Storm celebrates Halloween with bonus XP event, new mount, skin, and portrait
There's a lot going on in Heroes of the Storm during its Hallow's End event this year. Players can expect a new mount, new skin, and a new portrait to earn. Oh, yea - and did we mention a bonus XP event?!
Blizzard is known for celebrating Halloween within its stable of games for years now. Last year, Heroes of the Storm received three Hallow’s End skins, and this year, the company is going all out for this year’s Hallow’s End event as players can expect new a new mount and skin, a special Jack-O’-Lantern portrait, and a week-long bonus XP event.
The new mount that will be available during Hallow’s End will keep Ichabod Crane up at night as the Headless Horseman’s Charger Mount will ride once again. As for the new skin, Falstad will be dressing up as a Buccaneer for this year’s festivities.
Outside of the Nexus, players can receive a special Jack-O’-Lantern portrait once they play 25 games during the Hallow’s End event. Event progress towards this unique portrait can be tracked in a player’s quest log, which will be available until November 17.
Last, but certainly not least, is a week-long bonus XP event. Starting on October 27 at 10am PT until 10am PT on November 3, players will be rewarded with 50% more experience points in game modes that award XP across all regions.
If the release of Lt. Morales and Artanis weren’t enough reason to get back into Heroes of the Storm, the Hallow’s End special event should lure you back into the Nexus. See you all on the battlefield starting next week!
