With the ongoing success of Ubisoft’s Far Cry series, we wouldn’t be completely surprised if the publisher was working on yet another game in its iconic first-person shooter series. Today, we’re hearing reports of a new Far Cry game showing up on Steam Database, called Far Cry Sigma.

The Steam Database listing doesn’t include any other information aside from the name Far Cry Sigma, so we don’t know what exactly this game could be. If we had to make a guess, we’d say Far Cry Sigma would be a remake of the original Far Cry, especially since online services for the game will be retired on October 6.

Ubisoft doesn’t have the most diverse lineup of games this holiday season as it’s only publishing Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Rainbow Six Siege. So whatever Far Cry Sigma is, we hope it releases this holiday season.
