Participating members of the Xbox One preview program will enjoy a the new Xbox One experience starting this weekend. Updated features include a redesigned dashboard, to improve ease, speed and use.

Judging from its look, the new dashboard will be very similar to the Windows 10 Xbox App, and comes just after the app got its own update. Xbox One Preview participants will be able to jump straight into games they were recently playing, and have one-click access to Game Hubs for news and updates. You'll also be able to pin games at the bottom of Home for quick access and app switching. The right trigger takes you straight to your pins while the left trigger takes you to your most recently played game or app.

Vertical scrolling is featured as part of a vertical gallery, so users can quickly view listings and showcased items, organized into categories like Staff Picks, New Releases, Top Played, Top Rated, Coming Soon, and Recommendations. There's plenty more to the new dashboard for preview participants to opted-in to try out.
