The King of Fighters 14 coming to PlayStation 4 in 2016 with 3D visuals
SNK Playmore has announced a new entry in its The King of Fighters series, The King of Fighers 14, will be released on the PlayStation 4. The developer is also moving on to 3D visuals instead of its iconic high-quality 2D visuals.
SNK Playmore has announced The King of Fighters 14 is heading to the PlayStation 4 in 2016.
The new King of Fighters is being created with brand-new high-quality visuals, although SNK Playmore promises it’ll stay true to its 2D gameplay roots.
A brief reveal trailer was shown during Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference, which can be viewed below. The video shows Iori Yagami and Kyo Kusanagi duking it out, which we can safely assume confirms their addition to the upcoming game.
The King of Fighters 13 released across a variety of platforms, with its most recent release on Steam. Considering the game was announced during Sony's press conference, we can see why the game would be announced for the PlayStation 4, although we have a feeling fans of the iconic fighting series will be able to enjoy the game on their platform of choice in no time.
