Street Fight 5 Worldwide Beta Begins This Friday
Street Fight 5 will begin its worldwide beta test at the end of this week.
Capcom recently announced that, after holding regional stress tests on its servers, that Street Fighter 5 will soon be entering its worldwide beta phase.
The worldwide beta test will start on August 28th, 4pm PST (1pm EST) and continues for five days, ending on September 2nd at 7am PST (4AM EST). However, participants may expect intermittent server maintenance during this period.
Capcom also explains that although it expects a relatively smooth experience, some users may run into connectivity issues. This is a normal, considering it is a beta test, and will help the developers prevent problems with the final game. To help ensure an optimal experience, Capcom suggests that participants use a wired internet connection instead of Wi-Fi where possible, and avoid downloading files in the background while playing.
Street Fighter 5 is expected to release in March 2016.
