Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive have announced the first expansion for Cities: Skylines will be taking a look at what happens to our cities after hours.

Cities: Skylines After Dark will allow day and night cycles to be possible in the popular city-building game. The day-night cycles won’t just be a visual feature as it’ll affect the simulation, which will cause certain aspects of the game play differently depending on what time of day it is. Players should expect more choice and more depth from the After Dark expansion.

Cities: Skylines has quite a hit for both Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive as the game sold over 1 million copies in its first month of availability. It received its first major update earlier this year that added European maps and buildings for free. No word as of yet when we can expect After Dark to be released nor its pricing, but for now, enjoy the following trailer Colossal Order released.
