Pillars of Eternity begins 'The White March' on August 25

It's time for Pillars of Eternity players to begin exploring the snowy terrain of The White March. The hunt for ogres begins on August 25.

Pillars of Eternity is preparing to expand beyond its horizons with the game's first expansion, "The White March - Part I." Originally revealed at E3 2015, this expansion will explore a slew of post-story content and now it has a release date.

This morning, Obsidiant Entertainment announced that The White March Part I would arrive on August 25 for all PC users. While the story is set to take place after the player has become renowned as a great hero, it is fully playable whether the core game is finished or not. The expansion will add a higher level cap, some new companions, fresh abilities, artifacts, and an entirely new realm that's being overrun by ogres.
