CD Projekt Red announced over the weekend the long-awaited patch 1.07 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released.

The “very large update” was revealed two weeks ago as we learned it would offer a player stash, an alternative movement style for Geralt, improved inventory management, and more. The patch missed its original release launch window, but CD Projekt Red helped ease the pain a bit by releasing patch 1.07’s long laundry list of fixes.

After reading through the list of changes made to the game, we think you would agree that this is quite the large update, and it’s one that should drastically improve the overall experience for most players.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.07 is now available to download on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

If you need a size the Xbox One patch is 7.2GB. It took around three hours to for mine to download. It didn't fix all the quest bugs but the inventory change is nice. I've not tried the stash crates since they made the crafting items weightless I reduced my load by about 60 and so I really don't need to make space now. I've not finished the game yet though I'm sure I'm close.

It's weird that you can't put books into the stash. Their weight adds up and they are mostly useless after reading once but I still felt bad for dumping them at a vendor.

In the video options at the bottom, enable hardware mouse. Not sure why it's in that menu but it should help.

If you're using vsync try turning it off in game and forcing it externally through your drivers. On nvidia it definitely lowered input lag, but for me it was slightly less smooth.

Also, change the movement control in the gameplay options to alternative. There is some delay built in for the animations on the default setting.
