Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's new zombies mode detailed at SDCC
Treyarch has revealed details surrounding the zombies game mode for Black Ops 3, and unlike the main campaign, it will be taking place in the past.
Treyarch has revealed the first details surrounding Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s zombies mode during San Diego Comic-Con today by announcing a new co-op multiplayer mode called Shadows of Evil.
Black Ops 3’s zombies mode will be a departure from the futuristic world the main single-player campaign of the game will drop us into. Shadows of Evil will be set in the 1940s and will feature weapons from the era, such as a vintage machine gun, but will also include some unique weapons, like the rocket-powered riot shield.
The new zombies game mode will feature a number of well-known celebrities lending their voices. The list of actors in Shadows of Evil is quite an eccentric one as Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neil McDonough, Ron Perlman, and Robert Picardo will be in this game mode. Picardo plays a character known as The Shadow Man, who offers help to the group help, but his offers may not actually assist the group in a way they would like.
