Microsoft has confirmed the date and time its Gamescom 2015 press conference will be taking place as well as what titles will be available at the show.

Microsoft’s Gamescom 2015 Xbox briefing will take place on August 4 at 7am PT / 10am ET and will be showcasing Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown, which were missing from its E3 lineup this year. The Xbox briefing will be available to view on Xbox One, Xbox.com, Xbox 360, and Windows Phone, although we’re sure it’ll also be available on some streaming-video service like Twitch and maybe even YouTube Gaming.

In addition to Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown, Microsoft also plans to take a closer look at some of its other upcoming games, which we’re sure will include more content for Halo 5: Guardians, Forza Motorsport 6, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Speaking of which, those games will be available for hands-on demos at the Xbox booth.

I loved the first one. The second was good but seemed to be missing...something. I don't know what. Still enjoyed it though. Hope the third is good! :D

The first made you feel like a bad ass because it built you up and gave you the world to do as you please. The second skipped all that.

It'd be like if in Fable you started out grown up and finishing the heroes guild rather than start from as a kid with shit happening to you and a dude telling you that you're destined for badassery.

This is probably the main thing! I also wasn't a huge fan of the zombie mechanic in Crackdown 2. I mean, it wasn't terrible. It was fun at first. But after a while it was just a chore. I think I really preferred the gang mechanic in the first one.

I also really missed the transforming vehicles. Yeah, the main fun in the game is hopping around like a superhero, but the vehicles that scaled with the player and got more badass over time were also a lot of fun.

First one is my fav 360 game, 2nd one they did something to the targeting and combat controls, I tried to play it but the changes were so frustrating I shut it off and got rid of it.

The second missed proper boss fights and was a lazy map rehash with zombies.

Sunset Overdrive for PC? Halo Anniversary Collection for PC? Those would be awesome.
