Elite: Dangerous is available today on Xbox One’s Game Preview Program at 5PM PST. The Xbox port comes with new controls, acheivements, and supports Xbox One Parties and Friends Lists. In July, Game Preview players will have access to PvP action in the Close Quarter Championship content.

Elite: Dangerous is the fourth title in the Elite series that was first released for PC in December 2014. Players have to survive and explore the open world of  Milky Way galaxy to make it through a ruthless futuristic galaxy in a story influenced by the player's actions.

Xbox Game Preview appears to be Microsoft’s response to Steam’s Early Access and is available today for $30.99.  Check out the Close Quarters Championship trailer here.
