Platinum Games officially revealed the development of Transformers: Devastation, which appears to be a fast paced action combat game using cel-shaded graphics. The game is being developed by some of the same folks that worked on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, along with members from Bayonetta 2 and The Legend of Korra.

The game, which focuses on 5 playable Autobots, who must take on over 30 variations of Decepticons. Platinum's goal is to bring out the awesomeness in the Transformers characters an epic single player experience. Although you start with one character at the start of the game, you'll be able to switch to others midway through.

Transformers: Devastation is in development for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC.
