E3 2015: Watch the Nintendo World Championships here!
After weeks of preparation, Nintendo is hitting the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for the first Nintendo World Championships in 25 years. Be sure to tune in here at 3PM PT/6PM ET and watch along with us.
E3 2015 is great for news and announcements and all that good stuff, but it's also an event to just go out and have some fun. So with that in mind, today's the big day for the Nintendo World Championships. The event is being broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater (once known as the Nokia Theater as recently as a week ago) at 3PM PT! Your host is former Attack of the Show co-host Kevin Pereira.
These are your contestants:
- Sinister1 (speedrunner, known for taking on Mike Tyson's Punch-Out blindfolded)
- Cosmo (speedrunner, recognized for setting obscene Ocarina of Time records)
- TheMexicanRunner (NES completionist, the man that has beaten all NES games ever)
- Bananas (speedrunner, recognized for her Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons run)
- Essentia (speedrunner, known for her Final Fantasy runs)
- Trihex (speedrunner, known for his Yoshi's Island runs)
- Jovenshire (from Smosh Games)
- Arin (from Game Grumps)
- The eight winners from the Best Buy qualifiers held a few weeks ago
The Legend of Zelda and Splatoon will be among the games on display, with six other secret games on the docket. The event will be preceded by a Nintendo Treehouse presentation. The full stream is available below. Enjoy!

Mario Maker looks incredible. At first everybody was wondering if they would even do the games justice with proper physics, turns out they did that + support for everything in all the games + a bunch of ridiculous original assets just because. All they have to do now is nail the sharing component of it.
