Xbox One and PC score Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings this summer
Metalhead Software's cartoony baseball simulator will hit Xbox One and Steam this summer with extra features.
Metalhead Software announced today that Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings will be coming to Xbox One and PC this summer.
“Right now there are few options for quality, accessible sports titles on the market, particularly when it comes to baseball games on the Xbox One and PC,” Metalhead co-founder Scott Drader said. “We’re really looking to put this genre back on the map for more casual fans.”
The new edition of SMB will feature two new stadiums and gameplay enhancements which includes four player local co-op and full batting and pitching statistics. Those who own the PlayStation version will also receive these gameplay enhancements soon.
Super Mega Baseball is a cartoony take on America’s pastime with a deep baseball simulation and life-like physics. SMB can be played solo or competitively and offers a difficulty system that levels the playing field between novices and experts. The baseball simulation is complemented by a leveling system that allows gamers to hire staff and buff attributes with the skill points they earn.
Super Mega Baseball is currently available for download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

This game is AWESOME. Seriously. If you liked the old school baseball games when you were younger (RBI, Bases Loaded, Baseball Stars, Griffey, etc.), you will like this. I'm playing through a season now and it's fun as fuck. Tons of stats and adjustable difficulty. Also, it's goof as fuck.
