Splash Damage's Dirty Bomb enters open beta on June 2
Dirty Bomb will be entering open beta on June 2, and to celebrate this announcement, a new video that asks the question "What is Dirty Bomb?" has been released.
Nexon America and Splash Damage have announced the open beta for Dirty Bomb will begin on June 2.
To celebrate today’s announcement, a new video has been released which offers a behind-the-scenes look at Dirty Bomb with the developers making the game.
Dirty Bomb is Splash Damage’s return to the classic FPS PC gameplay of frantic run ‘n gun action. Players will be able to choose their characters from a diverse group of Mercenaries as they work together on a quest for both riches and bragging rights. The title is free-to-play, and most importantly, free-to-win.
“Dirty Bomb takes us back to our roots as a company dedicated to making competitive multiplayer shooters for hardcore gamers,” said Paul Wedgwood, CEO of Splash Damage. “Twenty years ago I played obsessively in a clan, competed in tournaments, made a mod for Quake 3, and as a result, founded Splash Damage with clan mates and friends. We’re grateful to have Dirty Bomb shaped by our players from an early alpha stage - With their dedication and feedback, along with the support from Nexon America, we think we’ve created something special.”
Dirty Bomb is currently in closed beta on Steam. Those interested in taking part in its open beta can head on over to its Steam page to prepare themselves for its release.
