Today Warcraft fans received a peek at Orgrim Doomhammer, Warchief for the Horde, from the upcoming Warcraft movie scheduled to release next summer. The movie is set as a prequel to the MMORPG, World of Warcraft.

Wired showed off the images. Orgrim was rendered by Industrial Light and Magic, the same team who brought us Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron. ILM used Blizzard’s concept art of the Warchief and blended them with pictures of actor Robert Kazinsky (Pacific Rim).

“We were looking for someone who would be able to perform the gruffness, the humor, and the toughness of this character," director Duncan Jones said of Kazinsky. “We’ve gone beyond the point where these are just creatures in movies. We now have the technology and the ability to make new characters entirely.”

Warcraft is scheduled to hit theaters June 10, 2016. Jones is best known for the indie sci-fi film Moon, which he then followed up with the bigger-budget action sci-fi movie Source Code.
