Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition releasing on June 23
Capcom has announced Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will be releasing on June 23 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Capcom announced Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition would be releasing some time in summer 2015, and today, the publisher has revealed we’ll be able to play as Dante and Vergil once again on June 23 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition features a total of five playable characters, making it the first Devil May Cry game to offer such a large roster. In addition to playing as Nero and Dante, players can now choose to play as Vergil, Trish, and Lady, each of which will have their own distinct playstyles. A new trailer was released today highlighting all of the playable characters as well as some of the new features, which you can check out below.
Capcom is offering a bonus costume for both Lady and Trish at release for those who pre-order as well as a free custom theme for PlayStation 4 pre-orders.
Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition is the second title in the Devil May Cry series to get a special edition on current gen. The first of which, DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, released back in March 2015 and offered all of the original title’s downloadable content, brand-new game modes, and additional gameplay features, all running at 1080p at 60fps.
