Total War: Warhammer brings two gaming worlds together on PC
As part of the Total War series' 15th anniversary, Sega and The Creative Assembly are collaborating with Games Workshop for Total War: Warhammer.
Two great tastes are about to taste great together. Sega and The Creative Assembly are celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Total War by taking it to a familiar place. The next game will center around the orcs of the Warhammer 40,000 (EDIT: Warhammer: Fantasy Battle) universe. As part of a new partnership with Games Workshop, Sega has announced Total War: Warhammer.
Total War: Warhammer will take place along the Old World. Players can select between the various races of the Warhammer world to play out a full campaign. This Total War will introduce the flying creature, massive monsters, and powerful storms that can be found in Games Workshop's universe, along with the real-time strategy clashes that The Creative Assembly have become recognized for.
This is just the beginning for this collaboration, as Sega is pointing to a pair of standalone expansions set to release in the future. A number of content packs will also be issued over the course of the game's lifecycle. Total War: Warhammer is set to hit PC, Mac, and SteamOS soon. For more, check out the trailer below.
