A new Tony Hawk Pro Skater game is reportedly in development after the caterer from a brand summit unknowingly leaked a presentation slide that shows a “Tony Hawk 5” image. Today, Hawk himself decided to joke on the leak by reposting an Instagram video skater Rob Wootton created acting out animations from his game’s older character selection screens.

Considering we’re a little under two months away from E3 2015, we have a feeling details surrounding the upcoming Tony Hawk Pro Skater game will be shared then.

Activision recently held a special media-only event to announce the revival of one of its historic franchises, Guitar Hero. Even though the publisher revealed it prior to E3, we still think an E3 announcement should be expected for whatever this new Tony Hawk game turns out to be. It's been a few years since we've seen a new Tony Hawk title as the last one from the main series was Proving Ground back in 2007. We think 8 years is long enough for the Tony Hawk series to be stuck in hibernation, especially when similar games like OlliOlli continue to show there's still an audience out there for skateboarding games.
