Acer's latest gaming monitor features AMD FreeSync with WQHD resolution
The Acer XG270HU is now available for $499 and seems to be an ideal monitor for those are fans of AMD's GPUs.
Acer is launching a new gaming monitor enabled by AMD FreeSync technology that features a 27-inch edge-to-edge display with WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 1-ms LCD response time.
The Acer XG270HU supports multiple interfaces (HDMI 2.0, Dual-link DVI, and DisplayPort), and includes a blue light filter to reduce blue light exposure, a low-dimming technology that adjusts screen brightness when it’s being used in non-optimal lighting conditions, and incorporates a flicker-less technology that uses a stable supply of power to eliminate screen flickering.
Of course, to take advantage of the AMD FreeSync technology, customers considering the Acer XG270HU need to be running their computer with an AMD Radeon GPU as well as use a compatible AMD Catalyst graphics driver. If you meet all of these prerequisites and you’re in the market for a new gaming PC, the Acer XG270HU is now available for $499.
