Windows 10 launches this summer
Microsoft has announced its next OS, Windows 10, is expected to be released this summer.
Microsoft announced Windows 10, which is not to be confused by the non-existent Window 9, back in September 2014. Today, Microsoft has announced the new operating software will be made available this summer across 190 countries and will be available in 111 languages.
The announcement comes from Terry Myerson, Microsoft’s executive vice president of the Operating Systems group, who didn’t offer a specific launch date.
Prior to this announcement, Microsoft held at event on Windows 10 last September. The event gave us some information regarding the new OS, which allows users to stream Xbox One games on PC and mobile devices, will be compatible with HoloLens, and will include games like Fable Legends, Gigantic and League of Legends. The closer we get to the launch of Windows 10, the more we'll be hearing of upcoming features and games, so keep an eye out for more news in the coming weeks.
