Friday the 13th star Jason Voorhees will kill again in Mortal Kombat X
WBIE has announced details regarding its season pass, which will include Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees as a playable character.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is confirming the details of the season pass for Mortal Kombat X, which will begin offering content as soon as the game launches.
The Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack will include access to four playable characters that are currently still in development, one of which will be the terror of Friday the 13th, Jason Voorhees. The remaining collection of characters will be comprised of two Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants and an additional special guest character.
Those who purchase the Kombat Pack will also receive the Samurai Pack, which contains three new character skins: Ronin Kensi, Samurai Shinnok, and Jingu Kitana as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character. The Kombat Pack will also give its owners early access to future DLC content prior to it going on sale individually.

[moan]Man... I'm hyped for the game, and Jason rules, but telling me that it's going to have its coolest (for me) character behind an additional paywall, before the game is even released, doesn't work. It makes me want to NOT buy your product. Tell me about this shit after I've played your game and found it to be worthy.[/moan]
[unrealistic expectations]I hope there's a finisher where Jason puts the opponent in a sleeping bag and smashes a tree with it.[/unrealistic expectations]-

Sure. That's why I said that tell me about it after I've played the game and found it to be worthy. I don't like the way DLC is used these days, I'd rather that they'd use Jason as a free bonus to _sell more copies of the actual game_, but I'm used to it. My biggest gripe is with how the DLC is marketed these days, and I have to wonder if it's really effective in regards to selling the game and/or the DLC for it. I know I'm certainly not alone when I say I find it annoying reading about this and that what I will have to pay extra for before I've even seen the actual game.
