Battlefield Hardline beta launches on Feb. 3
The Battlefield Hardline beta will be launching on February 3 across all available platforms.
EA revealed its upcoming beta for Battlefield Hardline will be available across all platforms the game will be available on, which means you have no reason not to check it out when it’s released. The only bit of information that was missing from their announcement was a firm release date, but today, EA has announced the title’s open beta will be taking place on February 3.
Between February 3 and February 8, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 owners will be able to partake in the Battlefield Hardline beta. The beta will feature the Bank Job map as criminals attempt to pull off a bank heist and secure their take of the rewards at drop off points within the map, all of this while law enforcement attempts to stop them.
In addition to Bank Job, players will also be able to another game mode, called Hacker. This game mode will allow one player on each side to be able to hack the battlefield in a number of ways, including hacking into security cameras, spotting enemies, and giving orders to teammates to attack or defend certain points.
The beta will allow players to rank up through online multiplayer, which will reward them with new weapons, vehicles, gadgets, and gear. Some of the unlockable gear will give players an upper hand as they can use faster getaway methods, such as the zipline or use of muscle cars, or take down enemies in a non-lethal way.
Battlefield Hardline will be available at retail on March 17.
