Diablo 3 patch 2.1.2 adds Ancient items to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4
The newest patch for Diablo 3 has added a little something extra for loot hunters across PC and next-gen consoles.
Blizzard has had a busy day. Following the launch of Heroes of the Storm's closed beta earlier today, the developer has released the 2.1.2 patch for Diablo III. The patch is being issued for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and is available for download now.
Some of the bigger changes include the Healing stat being replaced by a new stat called Recovery. This will measure how much Toughness can be recovered in combat, though a character's Healing number will remain visible when mousing over the Recovery stat. Other changes include an increase in Base Life at level 70, increased life for Pets and Followers, and a substantial increase for Life on Hit and Life Regeneration. For loot hunters, the rarest Legendary items has seen its rarity reduced, which should make life a little bit easier, while Ancient items have also been added as even more powerful versions of Legendary items.
Those looking to get hunting can do so right now. For more on the big changes, including individual class changes and seasonal Legendaries, check out the PC patch notes here, while the console patch notes can be found here.

DH is a little weird with the forced cooldown on sentries, but you can drop 2 instantly.... soooooo... not much lost really. If anything, more bursty. Drop 2, mash multishot, done. I think they want to make DH's use generators since basically no one uses them. That seems to be possible, but I have only played a little.
I had to play enough to get an OMG ANCIENT ITEM... yeah the rolls are pretty much off the charts, so that will keep people grinding for a while.
