Elite: Dangerous enters 'Gamma 2.00' with new launch trailer
Elite: Dangerous has deployed its 'Gamma 2.0' and released a launch trailer to prepare for next week's final version.
Elite: Dangerous is lifting off on December 16, so the folks at Frontier Developments are deploying one last step before the big launch. The game is hitting its Gamma 2.0 stage today and Frontier is celebrating with a new launch trailer.
There's also some good news for players that have been acclimating resources throughout Elite: Dangerous' early stages. Frontier notes that progress will not be wiped when the final version of the game goes live. Furthermore, all players' starting credits will be increased tenfold, offering plenty of credits for new ships and upgrades.
The full 90-second launch trailer can be seen below. Elite: Dangerous is available for pre-order on the game's website.

I've been watching/listening to this today. He's flying around the Solar System now and apparently Mars has been terraformed. It looks like water world.
