Street Fighter 5 Revealed as PS4 and PC Exclusive
Street Fighter 5 was accidentally leaked through Capcom's YouTube channel.
Capcom pulled the trigger a little too early on its YouTube channel and accidentally leaked the development of Street Fighter 5 with a teaser trailer. Even more surprising is the fact that it appears to be a PlayStation 4 and PC exclusive. Other details are practically non-existent, but perhaps more will be revealed at the Video Game Awards show tonight. The trailer has been taken down for the time being, but other channels have copied it. You can check it out below until Capcom has it removed.

I think that's why MK9 and Injustice were so popular. They kind of bridged that gap between the game being competitive and casual. They still had pretty deep combat systems but it wasn't THAT difficult to pull of impressive looking stuff and the single player content was extremely varied and deep.
SF games have generally been way more about the competitive side for a long time. They are pretty fantastic if you like that sort of thing but I could see being indifferent if you didnt.-
Yeah, I loved the last MK. It just sucks because I always loved Street Fighter growing up and I really love the way the most recent games have looked. But I'm just not a "competitor". I love singleplayer campaigns. I love being immersed in a world and discovering things. Like you said, that's not what SF is and that's ok. Maybe someday they'll make a SF character action game :P

I agree with you. It was a really big mistake to mix footage from SF4 and the new game in the announcement video when they look so similar. It really puts a magnifying glass over how little they changed. Every other major Street Fighter entry did something major with the art design (1, 2, Alpha, EX, 3, 4), and this one is basically SF4 @ 1080p with slightly better textures. Kind of boring.
And let's get real here. Street Fighter 2 is really the only truly legendary game in that series. All of this melodramatic nonsense just stems from people's nostalgia for that great game. If it wasn't for the brand name that SF2 established, would these games really stand on their own? It's questionable. -
