Evolve story trailer prepares for Xbox One open beta in January

Did you know Evolve has a story beyond its 4-v-1 gameplay? Well, it does! And another story it's telling is that the open beta is hitting Xbox One in January.

It may surprise some folks that played through Evolve's 'Big Alpha' or even anyone that has followed the game's development to this point, but the latest from 2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios does indeed have a story to it. So allow them to explain it with a new trailer, while offering a reminder that a special open beta is on its way in January.

The story trailer sees our esteemed band of Hunters going across the cosmos to protect valuable resources from the forces of the monsters. With the monsters only getting stronger, the Hunters gear up for a battle to protect the planet's colony and destroy any two-story monstrosities that move.

Check out the full trailer below. Evolve's open beta is set to open exclusively to Xbox One owners in January. The game itself will arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on February 10.
