Overkill Software has announced its second annual xmas heist for Payday 2, which will be made available completely for free.

In this year’s xmas heist, players will help Vlad save his drunken Bosnian Norwegian brother-in-law pilot who crashed his plane in the middle of the forest, which just so happens to be filled with a millions of dollars worth of cocaine. Saving the pilot will ensure the cops don’t connect him to Vlad, and while you’re out there, you’ll also be attempting to retrieve as much cocaine as possible as well as any other items of value you find.

The new xmas heist will be loud-only as players attempt to escort the drunken pilot and valuables away from the cops.

Overkill Software has two additional surprises in store, which will be opened on Wednesday and Thursday. If you’re a fan of Payday 2, you’re going to want to keep a close eye on Overkill Software’s official website to learn what else they have in store.
