Bungie announced late last week Destiny players will be able to partake in several events going on this week in the game. The first event went live over the weekend as Guardians took part in the Combined Arms Crucible playlist. Now that the weekend is behind us, a new public event has just gone live.

The Queen’s Wrath is the latest Destiny public event to become available for Guardians who want to take part in an experience outside of what’s currently available in the game. In order to access this special event, you’ll need to head to the Tower where you’ll find the Queen’s Emissary in a previously closed off area behind the bounty vendor handing out her own bounties to Guardians. Completing her bounties will net you some new class items, shaders and rare weapons.

That’s pretty much it. You’ll be completing missions for “The Queen” in order to submit bounties for rare and legendary loot. If you were thinking this would be a completely new campaign, it looks like this isn’t exactly what you were looking for. For that kind of content, you'll have to wait until the expansions hit.

The Queen's Wrath event will be available until October 6.
