Final Fantasy 15 trailer debuts at Tokyo Game Show
Despite a director shakeup earlier tonight, Square Enix didn't come to Tokyo Game Show empty-handed, showing a new trailer for Final Fantasy 15.
While it's been no secret that Final Fantasy XV (formerly known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII) has had a troubled development cycle, right down to a director shakeup earlier tonight, that doesn't mean Square Enix was going to come to this year's Tokyo Game Show empty-handed. The publisher came fully prepared for a new trailer for the upcoming RPG. Beyond looking spiffy, it also confirms the leaked info about the game's demo from late last night.
The latest two-and-a-half minute trailer shows some more bits and pieces of the game's story, as well as more footage of the game's real-time battle system.
The end of the original Japanese trailer shows information for 'Episode Duscae,' the rumored Final Fantasy XV demo set to hit next year in March. According to the original Game Informer article (since pulled), the demo will come free with copies of the upcoming Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, also set to hit Xbox One and PS4 in 2015.
The North American trailer with English subtitles can be seen below.

OMG...AMAZING. When they drove by the field with the...'dinosaurs'??? The girl sitting at the table??? This entire preview just reminds me of what I used to love about FFs 7-10/12-how gorgeous the cutscenes were. But the gameplay looked fun too! I need this game in my life. Just wow. PREORDERING TODAY (assuming you can pre-order it)!!!! This looks like it could be the best FF game ever. EVER. Now please excuse me while I watch that trailer 10 more times.
