The Binding of Isaac has been enjoyed by PC players ever since its initial release back in September 2011. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth will bring the twin-stick shooter to consoles, and today, we have learned the game will be released on November 4 according to a new trailer published earlier today that has since been made private.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was originally expected to be released on consoles in early 2015, although now PlayStation 4, PS Vita and Steam users can now expect the remake to be available starting in November.

The remake will include over 110 new items, an expanded storyline and additional enemies and bosses. Steam users who purchased The Binding of Isaac before are expected to receive some kind of loyalty discount if they’re interested in purchasing Rebirth.

I saw a blurb somewhere earlier saying the game would be free for PS+ members. Any idea if that's actually true?

Did you mean "players" and not "payers" in the title? ;D
I guess you do have to buy the game, thus making you a payer.

Yes, because it's a completely remade game, with each line of code, and each character sprite and tile redone. Not to mention additional content. The original BoI took little over a month to make, this one's been in development for over a year.
