During today's presentation at the Xbox Gamescom press conference, 2K Games showed off a new map for the forthcoming multiplayer game Evolve. Following its debut, however, it revealed that a beta would be coming to the console, and it's not too far off.    

This January, players will be able to take part in the game, either on the side of four human hunters or as a massive beast that they're hunting down. There's no word on exact dates, or how long the beta will last, but at least we know it's coming.
