The Killer Instinct reboot is getting ready for its second season, and it appears Microsoft may be planning another classic re-release as well.

The Korean Ratings Board (via Joystiq) has a listing for "Killer Instinct Classic 2 Xbox One." That certainly seems to imply that Microsoft is planning a port of Killer Instinct 2, the 1996 arcade game that introduced some new characters and mechanics. 

A port of the original Killer Instinct, similarly titled "Killer Instinct Classic," was available for purchasers of the reboot's special editions. Maya, one of the new characters from KI2, is already announced for Season 2 of the new game. We expect this means Microsoft will offer some sort of bundle that includes the classic port, but we'll have to wait for official word to be sure.
