The Walking Dead comic studio says Telltale will return for Season 3
Telltale is not ready to leave the world of The Walking Dead just yet.
Clementine's story is on the verge of coming to an end. Or is it? Telltale isn't ready to step away from the world of The Walking Dead just yet. Skybound Entertainment, the comic studio founded by TWD creator Robert Kirkman, announced over the weekend that Telltale would return for a whole new season.
Skybound emphatically made the proclamation on their Twitter account, implying that the comic prequel would continue for another batch of episodes. Whether it'll center around Clementine or another character remains to be seen and will most likely depend on how Telltale decides to wrap up the second season over the next couple of months.
A third season may also present a dilemma for Telltale, as a growing number of users begin to adopt new consoles. If Telltale decides to bring the next season of The Walking Dead to Xbox One or PlayStation 4, it'll be interesting to see how they address the issue of allowing players to bring their story with them across console generations.

The new season is so bad. I couldn't even play the 4th episode past the opening 5-10 minutes due to shittiness. It seems like the people making it now are way more inspired by the vapid soap operatic bullshit of the show instead of the deep character development of the comics. Oh well, at least The Wolf Among Us was amazing.

Big fan of season 1 here and I find the second season kind of meh, but honestly I'm not such a big fan of TWAU either. The last episode felt so anti-climactic to me. Plus I can't seem to get past the bland animation, the various little visual bugs and more than anything the false pretense of consequences to your action. It's basically just click here to see what happens next. I'd rather they'd polish the animation and overall look, keep a great story and just publish regular animation episodes.

I expected a lot less dramatic and engaging story than in S1, since Vanaman and Rodkin left to form their own company and it seems I got it. I've only played the first episode of the second season back when it was released, but decided to wait until the last episode is close to release since it sucks to wait almost a year for the episodes to all be released.
Things I noticed in the S1 DLC and S2E1 is that there's so many bugs and glitches in those that I'm wondering is there anymore even that one hobo working at the Telltale Q&A department? It's like they let through all kinds of really weird and visible bugs.
I do still have some hopes for the story since former Shacker worker F Nick Breckon is doing some part of the story, but some other guy is the main story writer so... -
