Evildoers, beware! Adam West is stepping out of Mayor mode long enough to return to Batman form. Well, as himself, anyway. WB Games recently announced that the actor, who appeared as the Caped Crusader in the 60's Batman TV series, will appear as himself in the upcoming video game Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, which will arrive later this year.

The game will take center stage at San Diego Comic-Con next week, where attendees can play through a one-level demo and team up with a friend in co-op. In addition, a panel will take place on Sunday, July 27th, in room 6BCF from 1:00-2:00 PM, with West planning to attend as a special guest. Other voice talents for the game, including Troy Baker, Dee Bradley Baker, Josh Keaton and Laura Bailey, will also be at the panel.

Let's just hope that Adam isn't stuck carrying around a huge bomb during the panel. We know how tough it is getting rid of those things. But just in case you forgot…

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will arrive this fall for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
