Following on the heels of Dark Souls 2, From Software's next project has been shrouded in mystery. Some interesting video has surfaced that appears to give us our first look at the unannounced game, code-named "Project Beast."

In the brief 18-second video snippet (via NeoGAF), we see a warrior working his way through what appears to be rocky terrain, exiting a castle and coming face to face with a number of enemies, using conventional weapons to take them down.

From there, things get a little more interesting, as he enters into a cave filled with wandering souls (while wearing a top hat, natch) and coming face-to-face with a large enemy, sword drawn.

From Software hasn't revealed official details about the game just yet, but with E3 just days away, it's only a matter of time before we get some. For now, enjoy the video, and ask yourself the question… how does someone fight in a top hat without it falling off, anyway?
