Hearthstone for iPad now available in U.S.
Hearthstone is now available on iPad, Blizzard has announced. Your progress from the PC version carries over, and trying it out on iPad will earn you a free pack of cards.
Update: The Hearthstone Twitter account has reaffirmed that Android and iPhone versions of Hearthstone are in the works and planned for later this year.
Original story: Blizzard teased us with a Canadian release a few weeks ago, but now Hearthstone on iPad is available for the rest of North America. This joins the recent news of the Curse of Naxxramas expansion, which is set to hit PC and iPad simultaneously.
Blizzard announced that any progress made on the PC version will transfer over to the iPad, and by giving it a try you'll get a pack of cards once you complete the tutorials and a single play or arena session.
Pick it up on the App Store now.

Played around with it this afternoon and its pretty solid. The load time of the app though... Ouch! I'm running it on an iPad 4 and I also ran it on an iPad mini and the load time of the app seemed the same. Loooong stalls between different phases of boot and sometimes it almost looks like the app closes/crashes.

I had the same experience on my Mini. But, with Blizz it's hard to know when the app is trying to phone home to validate something and it's just waiting in the queue. I see this a log when loading a multiplayer map in sc2; like it's having to wait for every player to do their phone home check before the map can continue loading. Except with HS it's only the initial loading of the game.
