Gearbox Software is making a collector's edition for its upcoming Homeworld Remastered. And it will actually be limited, with only a few thousand units being produced.

The collector's edition will include a 12" hand-decorated ABS resin Mothership with LED lights powered by either USB or an AC adapter. According to the game's official site, this CE will go for around $100.

Speaking at a panel at PAX East, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford said that the collector's edition won't be sold at a premium, adding that Gearbox spent an "irresponsible amount" of money to create it, and that the company is "hoping to break even" (via Gamespot). The collector's edition will also include an art book, key chain, and codes for the remastered versions of Homeworld and Homeworld 2.
